The Box connector lets ZeroTwo reach your Box content through your own Box account. You connect it from Customize, then mention it in a chat or use it in Work mode. A connected Box account can also show up as a source in your Library.

## What ZeroTwo can do with Box

In the connector list Box is described as "Search and reference your documents in Box and work safely with Box content flows from ZeroTwo." ZeroTwo's built-in Box entry names three tools: searching folders by name, listing a folder's contents by folder ID and getting a file's content. After you connect, the connector's page shows the tool list it loads for your account under Tool permissions, split into Read-only tools and Write/delete tools.

## Connect Box

1. Select **Customize** in the left rail, then **Connectors**.
2. Find **Box** and select **Connect**.
3. In the window headed "Use Box in ZeroTwo", select **Connect**.
4. Sign in to Box and approve access. ZeroTwo asks Box for the `root_readwrite` scope, a read and write scope.

On the web this takes you to Box's page and back. When you return, ZeroTwo shows "Box connected successfully!" and Box appears in the **Installed** row at the top of the Connectors page.

You can also start from the Library: choose **New**, then **Connect a plugin**, and select the plus button beside Box in the "Connect your files" dialog.

## Use Box in a conversation

In Chat mode ZeroTwo attaches Box tools only when your latest message mentions Box. Type `@Box` in your message, for example "@Box find the planning folder". In Work mode ZeroTwo does not need a mention to reach your connected connectors.

## Browse Box from your Library

A connected Box account can appear as a source named "Box" in the Space sidebar and on the Library page. This is a web and desktop app feature. Open it to browse your folders. A file's three-dot menu offers **Chat about this**, **Download**, **Rename**, **Move to...**, **Copy to…** and **Hide**. Items are greyed out when Box does not allow that action for the item.

- Delete is not available for Box items. Box lets an organization turn its trash off, and ZeroTwo cannot tell whether yours is on, so it does not offer the action.
- Uploads and downloads are limited to 50 MiB per file.

The Library's settings menu has a switch for Box if you want to hide the source without disconnecting.

## Choose which tools ZeroTwo can use

Open Box in the Installed row. Each tool can be set to **Always allow** (the default), **Needs approval** or **Blocked**. Needs approval makes Work mode ask before the tool runs, with choices that include Allow once, Allow for this run and Deny; regular chat does not ask. Blocked hides the tool from ZeroTwo everywhere.

## Reconnect or disconnect

If Box stops working, its page shows "Connection issue" with a **Connect** button. To remove it, open the three-dot menu on Box's page and choose **Disconnect**; ZeroTwo deletes the connection and the tokens it saved.
