Connect Notion and ZeroTwo can search your workspace, open pages and databases, and create or update pages for you. Use it to pull notes into a chat, or to turn a chat into a Notion page.

## Connect Notion

1. Open **Customize > Connectors** and select **Connect** on **Notion**. Its card reads "Include your Notion data in your chats."
2. In the dialog titled "Use Notion in ZeroTwo", select **Connect**. You go to Notion's authorization page; approve the request there.
3. You return to ZeroTwo, and Notion appears under **Installed**.

On the web app your browser tab goes to Notion and back. In the desktop app, Notion's page opens in your default browser. For more about the connect flow, see [Connect your apps to ZeroTwo with connectors](https://help.zerotwo.ai/en/articles/11487775-connect-your-apps-to-zerotwo-with-connectors).

## What ZeroTwo can do in Notion

The Notion connector includes tools to:

- search your Notion content,
- fetch (open) a page or database,
- create pages, and
- update existing pages, including their content and properties.

Open Notion under Installed to see the tools your account exposes. Which Notion tools are offered can vary by workspace.

To make sure ZeroTwo uses Notion in a chat, mention it by typing `@Notion` in your message. Prompts to start from:

- Turn this spec into an implementation plan in Notion.
- Capture today's meeting decisions as a Notion page.
- Synthesize these research notes into a structured Notion doc.

## Add the Notion plugin

The Notion plugin adds four ready-made workflows on top of the connector. Open **Customize > Plugins**, find **Notion** and select **Install**. The plugin's page lists Notion under Connectors, with a **Connect** button until you have connected it.

- **notion-knowledge-capture** turns conversations and decisions into structured pages such as wiki entries, how-tos, decisions and FAQs.
- **notion-meeting-intelligence** prepares meeting materials, such as agendas and pre-reads, using Notion context and ZeroTwo research.
- **notion-research-documentation** researches across Notion and writes briefs, comparisons or reports with citations.
- **notion-spec-to-implementation** turns specs and requirement documents into plans and tasks, and tracks progress.

## Control what ZeroTwo can change

Creating and updating pages are write actions. Open Notion under Installed and look under **Write/delete tools**. Set the create and update tools to **Needs approval** if you want to confirm each change in an agent run, or to **Blocked** if ZeroTwo should only read. See [Control what ZeroTwo can do in a connected app](https://help.zerotwo.ai/en/articles/20001495-control-what-zerotwo-can-do-in-a-connected-app).

## If something is not working

- **Connection issue.** Open Notion under Installed and select **Connect** to authorize again.
- **A tool is missing.** Open **More options** on the Notion page and choose **Refresh tools**. If a Notion tool reports that it was not found, the plugin's instructions tell ZeroTwo to stop retrying that tool for the rest of the task.
- **No Notion tools at all.** Check that Notion shows as connected, not as needing attention.

## Disconnect Notion

Open Notion under Installed, open its **More options** (…) menu, then choose **Disconnect**. ZeroTwo deletes the stored connection. You can connect again at any time. To pause Notion without disconnecting, turn its switch off in **Settings > Plugins > Connectors**.
