The Microsoft Teams connector lets ZeroTwo include your Teams data in your chats. You connect it once from Customize, then mention it in a message or use it in Work mode.

## What the connection can reach

In the connector list it is named "Microsoft Teams" and described as "Include your Teams data in your chats." The connector's default tool list covers getting your profile, listing teams, getting a team, listing channels, listing chats, listing members, listing messages, searching messages, fetching one message and sending a message.

When you sign in, Microsoft shows the permissions ZeroTwo asks for:

Permission
---
`openid`
`profile`
`offline_access`
`User.Read`
`Team.ReadBasic.All`
`Channel.ReadBasic.All`
`ChannelMessage.Read.All`

The Graph permissions on this list are all read permissions: none of them has Send or Write in its name. The tool list does include a send-message tool, so if you want to be sure ZeroTwo never tries to post to Teams, set it to Blocked under Tool permissions (see below).

## Connect Teams

1. Select **Customize** in the left rail, then **Connectors** in the Customize sidebar.
2. Find **Microsoft Teams**. You can type its name in the "Search connectors" box.
3. Select **Connect**. A window headed "Use Microsoft Teams in ZeroTwo" opens. Select **Connect** in it.
4. Sign in with your Microsoft account and approve the permissions above.

When you are back in ZeroTwo, Teams appears in the **Installed** row at the top of the Connectors page.

## What the connect window tells you

- A switch labelled "Reference memories and chats." decides whether ZeroTwo may use relevant chats and memories when it shares data with Teams.
- "Data shared with this app." explains that adding the app lets it access basic information typically shared when you visit a website, such as your IP address and approximate location, and a summary of your recent context and intent within ZeroTwo.
- "Apps may introduce elevated risk." warns that attackers may try to use ZeroTwo to reach data in the app, or use the app to reach data in ZeroTwo.

## Use Teams in a conversation

In Chat mode ZeroTwo attaches Teams tools only when your latest message mentions Teams. Type `@Teams` (or `@Microsoft Teams`) in your message, for example "@Teams what is the latest in the design channel?"

In Work mode ZeroTwo does not need a mention to reach your connected connectors.

## Choose which tools ZeroTwo can use

Select Teams in the Installed row to open its page. Under **Tool permissions** ("Choose when the agent is allowed to use these tools.") the tools are listed in two groups, **Read-only tools** and **Write/delete tools**. Each tool can be set to one of three options:

- **Always allow** is the default. ZeroTwo can use the tool whenever it needs to.
- **Needs approval** makes Work mode stop and ask before it uses the tool. The choices include Allow once, Allow for this run and Deny. Regular chat does not ask.
- **Blocked** hides the tool from ZeroTwo everywhere.

If the Write/delete group lists a send-message tool and you want to be sure ZeroTwo never posts to Teams, set it to Blocked.

## Reconnect or disconnect

- **If Teams stops working.** Its page shows "Connection issue" and, unless a more specific reason is available, "Your session has expired. You can reconnect to re-authorize." Select **Connect** to sign in again.
- **To remove it.** On Teams' page open the three-dot menu ("More options for Microsoft Teams") and choose **Disconnect**. ZeroTwo deletes the connection and the access tokens it saved. The same menu has **Refresh tools**.

On Android, Customize in the sidebar has a Connectors section, and Microsoft Teams is in its catalog.
