Credits are the balance ZeroTwo draws from when you use metered models, paid tools, images, video and deep research. Paid plans include monthly credits, Free accounts get welcome and daily login credits, and you can buy more at any time. Light chat uses very few credits, and heavier models and longer tasks use more.

## Where your credits come from

ZeroTwo keeps three kinds of credits in one wallet.

- **Monthly credits** come with a paid plan and reset every billing cycle. Unused monthly credits do not roll over.
- **Bonus credits** are added on top of your monthly allowance. Examples are the 100 welcome credits on a new Free account and the daily login credits on personal plans, which are added once for each UTC day you are active.
- **Purchased credits** are the ones you buy. They never expire.

When you use ZeroTwo, monthly credits are spent first, then bonus credits, then purchased credits.

## What each plan includes

| Plan | Monthly credits | Free Auto requests per month | Daily login bonus |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Free | None (100 welcome credits once) | None | +20 |
| Plus | 1,650 | 1,000 | +20 |
| Pro | 3,500 | 2,500 | +30 |
| Pro 2× | 7,000 | 5,000 | +30 |
| Ultra | 14,000 | 12,000 | +50 |
| Ultra 2× | 28,000 | 24,000 | +50 |
| Business | 4,000 per seat, pooled | 1,250 per seat, pooled | None |

Auto is a model choice that routes your message to a fast, low-cost model. On paid plans the free Auto requests are counted separately from your credits. Once they are used up, Auto requests are charged to your credits like any other model.

Business is a team plan whose credits are shared by the whole workspace instead of by one person. The plan picker in the web and desktop apps does not currently show a Business card, while the plan sheets in the iPhone, iPad and Android apps still list Business. ## Check your balance

1. Open the account menu and choose **Settings** > **Usage**. The account menu also has a **Usage** row that shows the percent you have left.
2. Under **General usage limits**, a paid plan shows a **Monthly credits** meter with the amount left and when it resets. A Free account shows **Free credits** and how many credits are left.
3. Under **Auto usage limits**, the **Auto requests** meter shows how many free Auto requests remain. On Free it says the allowance is not included on the plan.
4. Under **Credits**, you see how many purchased credits are left.

In the model picker, hover over the coin icon next to a model to see its estimated cost in credits per 1,000 tokens. The icon appears only for models that use credits on your plan. In the web and desktop apps, the **Model Tiers** dialog under **Help** also lists what tools and media cost.

To see where credits went, open **Settings** > **Analytics**. **Usage history** breaks credits down by product or by model over the last 7 or 30 days. It covers Work, Code and other agentic tasks, and leaves out ordinary Chat conversations.

## Buy more credits

These steps are for the web and desktop apps.

1. Open the account menu and choose **Buy credits**. You can also go to **Settings** > **Usage** and choose **Add more** under **Credits**.
2. In the checkout that opens, choose how many credits you want. Each credit costs $0.01. The smallest purchase is 1,000 credits ($10), the checkout starts at 2,500 ($25), and the largest is 99,900 ($999).
3. Pay. When the purchase completes, your balance updates.

Purchased credits stay in your wallet and never expire. A Free account that holds purchased credits can also use models beyond the Free tier.

## Not available yet

The **Usage** page shows an **Automatic reload** switch and, under **Buy credits for someone else**, a **Gift credits** button. Both are switched off, and Automatic reload is labeled as not available yet.

## If a payment for your plan fails

ZeroTwo moves a personal account to the Free plan, sets the monthly credits to zero and removes the bonus credits. Purchased credits are not touched. Add a working card in **Settings** > **Billing** to restore your plan.
