The Library is where ZeroTwo keeps your files and images in one place. You can upload files, make folders, mark favorites, share a file with other people, and start a chat about a file. Deleted items wait in Trash before they are removed for good.

## Open the Library

1. Choose **Spaces** in the left rail.
2. In the **Space** sidebar, choose **All**.

Use the **Search library** box at the top to search your files. The tabs under it are **Suggested**, **Favorites**, **Folders**, **Images** and **All**. The Space sidebar also has shortcuts to **Pages**, **Sites** and **Images**.

## Add files and folders

- **Upload.** Choose **New** > **Upload files**, or drag files onto the page. Drag them onto a folder to upload straight into it. A single file can be up to 50 MB.
- **Make a folder.** Choose **New** > **Folder**. Inside a folder, the new folder is created in that folder; at the top level it is created at the top of your Library.
- **Create something new.** The **New** menu also has **Page**, **Site**, **Image**, **Space** and **Start from template**. **Slide** and **Sheet** are shown as coming soon.

## Find, filter and sort

Choose the filter button (**Filter Library items**) to sort and narrow the list.

- **Sort by** **Name**, **Modified** or **Size**, in ascending or descending order. On the **Suggested** tab the date option is **Last activity**.
- **Source** narrows the list to files you **Uploaded** or files that were **Generated** in your chats.
- **File type** narrows to Images, Audio, Video, Documents, Spreadsheets, Presentations, PDFs or Code.

Switch between **Grid view** and **List view** with the two buttons beside it.

## Work with a file

Select the three-dot button on a file to open its menu:

| Menu item | What it does |
| --- | --- |
| Chat about this | Starts a new chat with the file attached. |
| Add to Favorites / Remove from Favorites | Adds the file to, or removes it from, the Favorites tab. |
| Download | Saves the file to your device. |
| Share | Opens the sharing dialog (see below). |
| Rename | Changes the file's name. |
| Move to... | Moves the file to another folder. |
| Add to space… | Adds the file to one of your Spaces. |
| Hide / Unhide | Hides the file from the list. Turn on **Show hidden files** in the Library settings (gear) button to see hidden files again. |
| Delete | Moves the file to Trash. |

To act on several files at once, tick their checkboxes. A bar appears with **Start chat**, **Download** and **Delete**, and its more-actions menu has **Move**. You can also drag files onto a folder to move them.

## Share a file

1. Open the file's menu and choose **Share**. The dialog is titled **Share** followed by the file name.
2. Type an email address in the **Add people by email** box and choose a role: **Can view** (view and download) or **Can edit** (rename, move and update). Then choose **Invite**.
3. Under **Who has access**, choose **Only those invited** or **Anyone with a link**. With **Anyone with a link** on, **Copy link** copies the link.

Files other people share with you are listed under a **Shared with me** row in the Library. You can open and download them. Whether you can change them depends on the role the owner gave you.

## Delete and restore files

**Delete** moves a file to Trash. To see what you deleted, choose **Trash** at the bottom of the Space sidebar, or open the Library settings (gear) button and choose **Trash** under **Manage**. The page is titled **Recently Deleted** and notes that items are permanently deleted after 30 days. Open a file's menu and choose **Restore** to put it back in your Library.

## Connect cloud storage

Choose **New** > **Connect a plugin** to open **Connect your files**. It lists Google Drive, SharePoint, Box and Dropbox. Use the Library settings (gear) button to switch a connected source on or off in your Library.

## Storage and the mobile apps

**Settings** > **Storage** shows how much space your files and images use compared with 20 GB. The iOS and Android apps also have a Library, and the iOS app calls its trash view **Recently Deleted**.
