You can get personal data removed from ZeroTwo in three ways: delete it yourself in Settings, delete your whole account, or ask ZeroTwo to do it by email or with a request form. ZeroTwo handles these requests under its Privacy Policy, which says the rights you have depend on where you live.

## Delete it yourself in Settings

Most data can be removed without contacting anyone. In the web or desktop app, open **Settings > Data Controls**. These rows delete data after you confirm:

- **Delete all chats** permanently deletes your conversations, meaning threads and messages only. Your assistants, projects, files and other data stay.
- **Clear all data** permanently deletes everything, including chats, assistants, projects, files, scheduled tasks, MCP integrations and research. It cannot be undone.
- **Delete account** permanently deletes your account and all of its data.

The **Shared Links** row has a **Manage** button that lists what you have shared with a link, so you can delete the links. Saved memories are managed separately. In **Settings > Personalization > Memory**, **Manage memories** lets you see what ZeroTwo knows about you, correct it or delete it. Before you delete anything you want to keep, use **Export data** on the Data Controls page; see [How to export your ZeroTwo chats](https://help.zerotwo.ai/en/articles/7260999-how-to-export-your-zerotwo-chats). For where chats and files are kept and how to remove them, see [How ZeroTwo keeps and deletes your chats and files](https://help.zerotwo.ai/en/articles/8983778-how-zerotwo-keeps-and-deletes-your-chats-and-files), and for deleting the account itself, [How do I delete my ZeroTwo account?](https://help.zerotwo.ai/en/articles/6378407-how-do-i-delete-my-zerotwo-account)

## Ask ZeroTwo to delete your data

If you want ZeroTwo to remove personal data for you, or you cannot sign in, you have two options:

1. **Email.** Write to **[reed@zerotwo.ai](mailto:reed@zerotwo.ai)**. The Privacy Policy names this address for requesting deletion and for exercising your privacy rights. Its contact section also lists a phone number and a postal address.
2. **The data deletion form.** Go to [**zerotwo.ai/data-deletion**](https://zerotwo.ai/data-deletion), which is headed **Request data deletion**. Enter your email address, which is required, and an optional note, for example which data to delete. Select **Send data deletion request**. The page then says ZeroTwo will process the request and confirm by email.

If the form says deletion requests are not configured, or shows an error, send the email instead. If you want the account itself closed and cannot sign in, [**zerotwo.ai/delete-account**](https://zerotwo.ai/delete-account) has a similar form with a **Send deletion request** button.

In your message, give the email address or phone number you sign in with. The Privacy Policy says ZeroTwo may need to verify your identity before it completes certain requests.

## What happens next

The Privacy Policy says that when you delete your account or ask for your data to be deleted, ZeroTwo deletes or anonymizes personal information from its active systems when that is reasonably practicable. It may keep information it must retain for legal, security, fraud-prevention or backup purposes, and backup copies can persist for a limited period before they are overwritten.

When you delete your account from Settings, ZeroTwo also asks Stripe to cancel an active card subscription. If that request fails, the web, desktop and Android apps still delete the account, so cancel a card plan first if you want to be sure it stops (see [How do I cancel my ZeroTwo subscription?](https://help.zerotwo.ai/en/articles/7232927-how-do-i-cancel-my-zerotwo-subscription)); the iPhone and iPad app stops instead and does not delete the account. The Terms say deleting your account does not entitle you to a refund for the current billing period or any past payment.

## What ZeroTwo cannot delete for you

- **Copies held by AI providers.** When you use a model, ZeroTwo sends the provider content such as your prompts, replies, attachments and any project instructions or memory context you have enabled. The Privacy Policy says some providers or models may retain or use submitted content under their own policies, so deleting data at ZeroTwo does not necessarily delete a provider's copy. Check the policy of the provider behind the model you used. The iPhone, iPad and Android apps show this in **Settings > AI data sharing consent**, which says that most providers only process the data to return a response and that Kimi, DeepSeek and Qwen may use submitted data for training. See [Does ZeroTwo use my chats to train AI models?](https://help.zerotwo.ai/en/articles/5722486-does-zerotwo-use-my-chats-to-train-ai-models) and [How does ZeroTwo handle my data?](https://help.zerotwo.ai/en/articles/7039943-how-does-zerotwo-handle-my-data)
- **Data inside connected apps.** Disconnecting an app in **Customize > Connectors** stops ZeroTwo reaching it, and the Privacy Policy says to revoke provider permissions in the relevant integration or provider settings. What the app itself stores is controlled by that app.

## Other privacy requests

The Privacy Policy says that, depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, restrict or delete your personal information, and to withdraw consent for certain processing. Settings covers some of these directly: you can review and update account information there, and **Export data** downloads a copy of your data. For anything else, email the same address.
