The cloud browser is a private Chrome that runs in ZeroTwo's cloud. In Work, ZeroTwo can open it to visit sites, read pages, fill in forms and take screenshots for you. You can watch it live, take over the mouse and keyboard, and replay what it did.

## How it works

- You get one cloud browser per account, shared by every Work task. If another Work task is already using it, a new task cannot use it and you see a message saying so.
- The browser keeps its saved site sessions between tasks, so a site that is signed in there stays signed in.
- It is used in interactive Work tasks on the web, iOS and Android. It is not used in Code mode, by sub-agents, or in scheduled and automated runs.
- The desktop app does not use the cloud browser. There, Work can use the app's built-in browser once you allow it. See [How do I use the built-in browser in the ZeroTwo desktop app?](https://help.zerotwo.ai/en/articles/20001277-how-do-i-use-the-built-in-browser-in-the-zerotwo-desktop-app)

## Who can use it

The cloud browser is available for accounts on **Pro**, **Pro 2×**, **Ultra**, **Ultra 2×** or **Business**. It is provided by the **Cloud Browser** plugin, which has to be enabled for your account. On other plans the Work agent does not get the cloud browser, so no **Cloud browser** card appears.

## Start a task with the browser

1. Switch the mode tabs at the top of the chat to **Work**.
2. Describe a task that needs a website, for example "Open this URL in the cloud browser and summarize the pricing page content."
3. When the browser starts, a **Cloud browser** section appears in the Work panel. Its card first shows **Waking cloud browser…**, then a small live preview labeled with the site's name.

## Watch live and replay

Select the card to open the **Cloud browser** viewer. The header says **Live view** while the browser is running, **Paused** when it is idle, and **Replay** when a session is not live, for example after it has ended. Under the picture, a slider called **Browser replay position** has one tick for each browser action. Drag it to step back through what ZeroTwo did, and select **LIVE** to return to the running browser. **LIVE** is dimmed when the browser is not running.

An idle browser wakes on the next browser action, and its card says so. A browser that is no longer running shows **Cloud browser session ended.**

## Take control

The steps on this page describe the web app.

While the browser is live, choose **Take control** in the viewer header. You can then click and type in the page yourself. The card shows **You have control**. When you are done, choose **Release control** so ZeroTwo can carry on. ZeroTwo cannot use the browser while you hold control. If you leave the page with control held, it is released.

## Reset the saved browser data

1. In the viewer header, open **Cloud browser options** (the three-dot button).
2. Choose **Reset browser data**.
3. Confirm in the **Reset browser data?** dialog. This clears saved website sessions, cookies, local storage and history. The next browser action starts with a fresh profile.

If your plan stops including the cloud browser, for example because a subscription ends or a payment fails, ZeroTwo also discards the saved browser.
