Your bot is a personal agent in ZeroTwo that works on its own cloud computer. You set it up once and then chat with it from the Home sidebar. Opening your bot requires a Pro, Pro 2×, Ultra, Ultra 2×, or Business plan, and your bot is in the web and desktop apps. On other plans, opening your bot shows an upgrade screen.

## Set up your bot

1. In the Home sidebar, select **Your bot**. It sits just below **New chat**.
2. On the **Create your bot** screen, select **Continue**.
3. On **Make your bot more helpful**, choose which extra apps to connect: **Email**, **Calendar**, **Contacts**, and **Drive**. Select **Connect** beside an app, or select **Continue with Google**, which starts the connection for the first app that is not connected yet. Once all four are connected, the button reads **Continue**. To skip this step, select **Continue without giving your bot this context**.
4. On **Setting up your bot**, wait a few moments while ZeroTwo starts the bot’s computer. If the computer is not ready, you see "Your computer is not ready yet. Please retry setup." Select **Retry setup** to try again.
5. On **Choose where your bot can work**, **Your bot’s computer** (a cloud computer) is already selected. **Your local computer** lets you grant access to local folders from the ZeroTwo desktop app, and its **Open app** button opens that app. The screen notes that you can change this anytime. Select **Continue**.
6. In **Customize your bot**, choose a look from **Colors**, **Characters**, or **Pets**, give your bot a name of up to 64 characters (the default is "Bot"), and select **Save**. If you close this window without saving, your bot keeps its current look and setup finishes.

The apps you connect here are optional. Your bot also has access to your plugins on ZeroTwo.

## Use your bot

After setup, your bot's page is a chat. The sidebar row shows your bot's name once setup is complete.

- Select your bot's name at the top of the chat to reopen **Customize your bot**.
- Select the **Open panel** button in the top bar to see the bot's computers, recent activity, pinned items, and outputs. Select it again to close the panel.
- Open **More options** for **Rename** and **Reboot**. Reboot restarts your cloud computer, which all of your bots share, and asks you to confirm with **Restart**. It can help if your bot seems stuck, and it can interrupt work in progress, but your conversations, memories, and scheduled tasks are kept. Your personal bot has no **Delete** entry.
