ZeroTwo's sign-in screen has no password. You sign in with Google, Apple, Microsoft, a phone number, or a link sent to your email, and your account is created automatically the first time you do. If sign-in fails, find the message you see below.

## How sign-in works

- Go to app.zerotwo.ai. The page is titled **Log in or sign up**.
- Choose **Continue with Google**, **Continue with Apple** or **Continue with Microsoft**. In the desktop app these open your system browser and return you to the app when you finish.
- Or enter your email address and choose **Continue**. ZeroTwo emails you a magic link. Click it to sign in. The link expires in 1 hour.
- Or choose **Continue with phone**, pick your country, enter your phone number and choose **Continue**. ZeroTwo texts you a 6-digit code to enter on the next screen. Choose **Continue with email** to switch back.

## Email link problems

| What you see | What to do |
| --- | --- |
| Please enter a valid email address with a proper domain (e.g., .com) | Check the address for typos, such as a missing .com. |
| Please sign up with a permanent email address. | Disposable email domains are blocked. Use an address you keep. |
| Please complete the captcha to continue. Captcha verification failed. Please refresh and try again. | When a Cloudflare Turnstile check appears under the email box, finish it. **Continue** stays off until you do. If the check fails, refresh the page and try again. |
| Please wait a moment before requesting another link. Too many magic link requests for this email. Please try again later. | Wait before asking for another link. After a link is sent, the resend button stays disabled for about a minute. |
| Your magic link has expired or is invalid. Please request a new one. | Go back to the sign-in page and request a new link. |
| Your authentication session expired. Start sign-in again in this browser and open the new link here. | Request a new link, then open it in the same browser where you asked for it. |

On the "check your email" screen, choose **Use a different email** if you typed the wrong address, or **Resend magic link** to get another one.

## Google, Apple or Microsoft will not sign you in

- **Unusual activity detected. Please use email login with CAPTCHA verification.** ZeroTwo blocked the social sign-in attempt. Use the email option instead.
- **Authentication rate limit reached. Please try again shortly.** Wait a little while and try again.
- **Authentication failed. Please try again.** Start again from the sign-in page.
- In a private or incognito window, ZeroTwo shows a notice recommending the social sign-in options for the best experience.

## Phone code problems

On the web and in the iOS app, ZeroTwo shows **Check your phone** and a **Verification code** box. Enter the 6-digit code from the SMS and choose **Verify**. The screen says the code expires in 60 seconds. **Resend code** sends a new one once the countdown ends, and **Use a different phone number** lets you fix a mistyped number. The Android app asks you to **Enter verification code**, offers **Resend code** after a short wait, and has **Use a different number**. | What you see (web) | What to do |
| --- | --- |
| Please enter a complete phone number | Check the country and enter the full number. |
| Couldn't send your verification code. Check the number and try again. | Check the country and number, then try again. |
| Please wait a moment before requesting another code. | Wait for the **Resend in** countdown to finish. |

## Two-factor prompt

If two-factor authentication is on for your account, a **Two-Factor Authentication Required** dialog opens after you sign in. Enter the 6-digit code from your authenticator app. If your second factor is a phone number, ZeroTwo texts a code to it, and **Resend code** sends another. Then choose **Verify & Continue**. If you close the dialog, you return to the sign-in page with "Multi-factor authentication is required to continue." You can manage two-factor authentication in **Settings** > **Security**.
