# When am I billed for ZeroTwo, and can I change the date?

> Find your renewal date in Settings, Billing. ZeroTwo has no setting to move it, but cancelling before the date stops the next charge.

Your plan renews on the date shown under its name in **Settings**, **Billing**. ZeroTwo has no setting for moving that date. To avoid the next charge, cancel your plan before the date (for a plan billed through the App Store, cancel it there).

## Find your renewal date

1. Open the account menu (your name at the bottom of the sidebar), choose **Settings**, then select **Billing**. On the iPhone and iPad apps, **Billing** is in the Account group of Settings; on Android, open **Usage & Billing**.
2. Read the line under your plan name. It says *Your plan auto-renews on* followed by a date. Once you have cancelled, it says *Your plan ends on* and the date instead.

The date is the end of your current billing period. For a plan billed through the App Store, it comes from your App Store subscription. If the line says *Manage your plan to view billing details.*, ZeroTwo has no date to show for the plan. On the Free plan the line says *Upgrade anytime to unlock more usage.*

## Monthly and yearly plans

On the web, the plan comparison that **Compare plans** opens has a **Monthly** and **Yearly** switch. Monthly is selected by default. A monthly plan renews every month and a yearly plan renews once a year.

## Can I change the billing date?

No. The Billing page offers **Compare plans**, **Transaction history**, **Billing information**, **Payment methods** and **Cancel plan**, and none of them moves the date. If you cancel, the plan keeps running until the date shown and your account then moves to the Free plan.

## What you see when a payment is taken

Each charge for your plan appears in **Transaction history** with its date, and you can open it for the invoice (see [finding past invoices](https://help.zerotwo.ai/en/articles/12356340-where-can-i-find-my-past-zerotwo-invoices-and-receipts)). Buying extra credits is a separate one-time payment. It shows up in the same list but does not change when your plan renews.

## If a payment fails

When a payment for your plan fails, your account can be moved to the Free plan. Billing then shows **Your last payment failed** with an **Update payment method** button, and tells you to add a working card to restore your plan. On the web the button opens a form for adding a card; in the iPhone, iPad and Android apps it opens Stripe's billing portal. To keep a working card on file, see [removing a saved payment card](https://help.zerotwo.ai/en/articles/12362718-how-do-i-remove-a-saved-payment-card).

## Business workspaces

Workspace admins see billing dates on a separate page. In **Workspace Settings**, the **Billing** page shows the current cycle's start and end dates and a **Renews on** date.
