No. ZeroTwo is not built for every age, and its own documents set limits. The Terms bar use by anyone under 13 who has not reached their country's minimum age of digital consent and require a parent or guardian's consent under 18, and the Privacy Policy goes further by saying ZeroTwo is not intended for children under 18. ZeroTwo has parental controls for linked parent and teen accounts, but they only switch off a few features and set quiet hours.

## What ZeroTwo's documents say

| Document | What it says about age |
| --- | --- |
| **Terms, Eligibility** | You may not use the service if you are under 13 and have not reached the minimum age of digital consent in your country. If you are under 18, you must have a parent or guardian's consent to use the services. |
| **Privacy Policy, minors** | ZeroTwo is not intended for children under 18, and it does not knowingly collect personal information from them. |

The two statements differ: the Terms bar under-13s who have not reached their country's age of digital consent and ask for a parent or guardian's consent under 18, while the Privacy Policy says the service is not intended for children under 18. If you are deciding for a child, follow the more cautious one.

## Parental controls

In **Settings > Parental controls**, a parent's account and a teen's account can be linked. The parent can then switch off **Allow memory**, **Allow voice mode** and **Allow image generation**, and set **Quiet hours** during which the teen cannot send messages. ZeroTwo says it does not share the contents of a teen's conversations with the parent, though in rare safety situations a parent may get a notification with minimal context. Those four settings are all the controls on that page, and none of them filters what a model writes. ## What families should know about the output

- The Terms say output may be incomplete, incorrect or offensive and does not represent ZeroTwo's views.
- ZeroTwo offers models from several providers, and what a child types may be sent to the provider behind the model they choose. The Privacy Policy says some providers may retain or use submitted content under their own policies.
- The Terms rule out creating content that depicts minors in a mature or sexualized context, and using ZeroTwo to exploit or harm minors. Breaking these rules can lead to suspension or termination of an account.

Sit with younger teens while they try it, and read [Does ZeroTwo tell the truth?](https://help.zerotwo.ai/en/articles/8313428-does-zerotwo-tell-the-truth) together.

## If a child under 18 has used ZeroTwo without permission

The Privacy Policy says that if ZeroTwo learns it has collected personal information from a child under 18 without appropriate authorization, it will take reasonable steps to delete it, and it asks you to write to **[reed@zerotwo.ai](mailto:reed@zerotwo.ai)** if you believe a child has provided personal information. If you can sign in to the account, you can also delete it yourself; see [How do I delete my ZeroTwo account?](https://help.zerotwo.ai/en/articles/6378407-how-do-i-delete-my-zerotwo-account)

## For teachers and schools

ZeroTwo has no education-specific plan among its plan cards, but schools can ask about ZeroTwo Education through the Contact Sales form (see [How do I contact the ZeroTwo sales team?](https://help.zerotwo.ai/en/articles/9047878-how-do-i-contact-the-zerotwo-sales-team)). The age rules above do not mention schools. Check them and your school's policy before you ask anyone to sign up.
