What is ZeroTwo? Frequently asked questions

A short introduction to ZeroTwo: what you can do with it, where it runs, whether you need an account, what it costs and where to get help.

Updated: 20 hours ago

ZeroTwo is an AI app you use through a message box. You ask for something, and ZeroTwo answers, searches the web, makes images, works through tasks with tools or helps with code, depending on the mode you pick. It runs in a browser, as a desktop app, on iPhone and iPad, and on Android.

What can I do with ZeroTwo?

  • Pick a mode. The tabs at the top of the chat switch between Chat, Work and Code. Work is the agent mode, where ZeroTwo takes on a task and uses tools to carry it out. Code is for programming tasks. The plans differ in what they include; Compare plans in Settings > Billing lists the differences.
  • Use tools from the message box. The + button adds files and folders and offers tools: Create image and Web Search in Chat mode. Deep Research is a plugin you start by typing /deep-research in your message. Answers that cite sources show a Sources button you can select to see them.
  • Talk instead of typing. When the message box is empty, its send button becomes a voice button named "Start voice conversation".
  • Keep your context. Projects in the sidebar (button: "New project") keep chats, files and custom instructions in one place. Settings > Personalization has Memory and Custom instructions.
  • Connect your apps. Customize in the left rail holds Plugins, Skills and Connectors, which shape how ZeroTwo works with you. See Connectors and plugins for the apps you can connect.

Which models does ZeroTwo use?

ZeroTwo offers models from several AI providers rather than a single one. The model switcher in the chat header lets you choose. It also has an Auto option, which is ZeroTwo's own router rather than any provider's model and routes to a fast, low-cost model.
