ZeroTwo's sign-in screen has no password. You sign in with Google, Apple, Microsoft, a phone number, or a link sent to your email, and your account is created automatically the first time you do. If sign-in fails, find the message you see below.
How sign-in works
- Go to app.zerotwo.ai. The page is titled Log in or sign up.
- Choose Continue with Google, Continue with Apple or Continue with Microsoft. In the desktop app these open your system browser and return you to the app when you finish.
- Or enter your email address and choose Continue. ZeroTwo emails you a magic link. Click it to sign in. The link expires in 1 hour.
- Or choose Continue with phone, pick your country, enter your phone number and choose Continue. ZeroTwo texts you a 6-digit code to enter on the next screen. Choose Continue with email to switch back.
Email link problems
| What you see | What to do |
|---|---|
| Please enter a valid email address with a proper domain (e.g., .com) | Check the address for typos, such as a missing .com. |
| Please sign up with a permanent email address. | Disposable email domains are blocked. Use an address you keep. |
| Please complete the captcha to continue. Captcha verification failed. Please refresh and try again. | When a Cloudflare Turnstile check appears under the email box, finish it. Continue stays off until you do. If the check fails, refresh the page and try again. |
| Please wait a moment before requesting another link. Too many magic link requests for this email. Please try again later. | Wait before asking for another link. After a link is sent, the resend button stays disabled for about a minute. |
| Your magic link has expired or is invalid. Please request a new one. | Go back to the sign-in page and request a new link. |
| Your authentication session expired. Start sign-in again in this browser and open the new link here. | Request a new link, then open it in the same browser where you asked for it. |
On the "check your email" screen, choose Use a different email if you typed the wrong address, or Resend magic link to get another one.

Phone code problems
On the web and in the iOS app, ZeroTwo shows Check your phone and a Verification code box. Enter the 6-digit code from the SMS and choose Verify. The screen says the code expires in 60 seconds. Resend code sends a new one once the countdown ends, and Use a different phone number lets you fix a mistyped number. The Android app asks you to Enter verification code, offers Resend code after a short wait, and has Use a different number. For the full phone sign-in flow, see How does phone sign-in work in ZeroTwo?
| What you see (web) | What to do |
|---|---|
| Please enter a complete phone number | Check the country and enter the full number. |
| Couldn't send your verification code. Check the number and try again. | Check the country and number, then try again. |
| Please wait a moment before requesting another code. | Wait for the Resend in countdown to finish. |
Two-factor prompt
If two-factor authentication is on for your account, a Two-Factor Authentication Required dialog opens after you sign in. Enter the 6-digit code from your authenticator app. If your second factor is a phone number, ZeroTwo texts a code to it, and Resend code sends another. Then choose Verify & Continue. If you close the dialog, you return to the sign-in page with "Multi-factor authentication is required to continue." You can manage two-factor authentication in Settings > Security.
