Connect, reconnect and disconnect app accounts

Check a connection's status, sign in again, add a second Google account, pause an app, or disconnect it from ZeroTwo.

Updated: 20 hours ago

Every connected app is managed from Customize > Connectors. From an app's page you can sign in again if the connection breaks, disconnect it, and, for Gmail, Google Calendar and Google Contacts, connect more than one Google account.

Connect an account

  1. Open Customize > Connectors.
  2. Select Connect on the app's card and complete the sign-in or form that appears.
  3. Look for the app under Installed.

You can also connect from a plugin. The plugin's page has a Connectors section with a Connect button for each app it uses. Once an app is connected, that button changes to Connected, with Reconnect and Disconnect in its menu. See Connect your apps to ZeroTwo with connectors for what each kind of sign-in looks like.

Check a connection's status

  • Under Installed, a warning triangle on an app's icon means it needs attention.
  • In Settings > Plugins > Connectors, the same apps are marked "Needs attention".
  • Open the app to see "Connection issue". The page shows the reason when ZeroTwo has one, and otherwise says "Your session has expired. You can reconnect to re-authorize."

Reconnect an app

Open the app from Installed and select Connect on the Connection issue page. For apps that sign in through their own page, ZeroTwo skips the introductory dialog when you have connected the app before and takes you straight to the sign-in page.

If you switch a connector back on and it needs to sign in again, ZeroTwo shows "app name needs to be reconnected" with a Reconnect button.

Pause an app without disconnecting it

In Settings > Plugins > Connectors, use the switch beside an app to turn it off. The connection and its tokens stay in place, and ZeroTwo stops using the app until you switch it back on. Apps that need attention show "Needs attention" there instead of a switch.

Use more than one Google account

Gmail, Google Calendar and Google Contacts accept several Google accounts each.

  1. Open Gmail, Google Calendar or Google Contacts from Installed.
  2. In the Connected accounts section, select Connect another account and sign in with the second account.

Each account is listed by its email address. Point at a row and use its More options menu to Reconnect or Disconnect that account alone.

With two or more accounts connected, ZeroTwo has to choose an account every time it uses the app. Say which one you mean in your request, for example by naming the email address.

Disconnect an app

  1. Open the app from Installed.
  2. Open the More options (…) menu on its page, then choose Disconnect.

ZeroTwo shows "Disconnected app name" and closes the page. For a multi-account app, disconnecting one account from the Connected accounts list leaves the others in place; the page closes after the last account is removed.

Disconnecting deletes ZeroTwo's stored connection and its tokens, along with the tool permissions you set for it. For GitHub, and for apps that publish a token revocation address, ZeroTwo also makes a best-effort request to revoke the access it was granted. To be sure an app can no longer reach your data, also remove ZeroTwo in that app's own settings. You can connect the app again at any time.

A connection you cannot disconnect

On Pro and higher plans, a Firecrawl connection comes with your plan. It appears under "Included with your plan" and has no Disconnect option. If you prefer your own account, select Connect your own Firecrawl account.

On iOS and Android

The ZeroTwo apps for iOS and Android have the same Connected accounts section, including Connect another account, and a Disconnect action.
