Open Settings > Billing and use Cancel plan. Cancelling stops the next renewal. You keep your plan until the end of the billing period you have already paid for, and then your account moves to Free.
Cancel a plan paid by card
- Open the account menu at the bottom of the sidebar, choose Settings, then Billing. On Android, open Settings > Usage & Billing. The steps are the same on the web, the desktop app, iPhone, iPad and Android.
- In the Cancel plan section, choose Cancel.
- In the Cancel plan? window you can say why under "What made you cancel? (optional)": Too expensive, Missing features I need, Output quality wasn't good enough, Not using it enough, Switched to something else, Too many bugs or errors, or Other. You can also add a note of up to 280 characters. Skipping both still cancels the plan.
- Choose Cancel plan to confirm, or Keep plan to leave things as they are.
A "Plan canceled" message confirms it. Settings > Billing then reads "Your plan ends on" followed by the date, and the Cancel plan section goes away.
What happens next
- Until the end date, you keep full access to your plan's features.
- On that date your account moves to the Free plan.
- Credits you bought separately never expire, and cancelling your plan does not remove them.
- Cancelling does not refund the current billing period. See How do I request a refund for my ZeroTwo plan? and the refund policy.
- After the plan has ended, you can start a plan again from Compare plans (View plans on Android).
When there is no Cancel plan section
- The plan was bought through the App Store. Settings > Billing says "Billing for this plan is managed through the App Store." Manage that subscription through the App Store instead. On iPhone and iPad, Manage plan under Settings > Usage opens your Apple subscriptions page.
- The cancellation is already in place. The Cancel plan section only appears while a card plan is still set to renew, so once you have cancelled there is nothing more to do.
- You are on the Free plan. A Free account has no paid plan to cancel.
