Yes. Deleting an account removes its sign-in and its data, so you can sign up again, even with the same email address. The new account starts empty, with nothing carried over from the old one.
Create the new account
- Open the sign-in screen at app.zerotwo.ai, or open the ZeroTwo app.
- Choose how to sign in: Continue with Google, Continue with Apple, Continue with Microsoft, Continue with phone, or enter an email address and choose Continue.
- If you used email, open the link in the message ZeroTwo sends you within 1 hour. The "Check your email" screen says that, if you are new, your account is created automatically when you click the link. If you used your phone, type the six-digit code ZeroTwo texts you and choose Verify.
New and returning people use the same screen, so there is no separate "create account" button.
What comes back and what does not
| From the old account | In the new account? |
|---|---|
| Chats, projects, files, saved memories, published Sites | No. They were deleted with the old account. |
| Credits | No. The credit balance was removed with the old account. |
| Paid plan | No. Deleting the account asks Stripe to cancel a plan paid by card, but on the web, desktop and Android the deletion goes ahead even if that request fails. If you are still being charged, see How do I contact ZeroTwo support? Subscribe again from Settings > Billing > Compare plans (View plans on Android). A plan bought through the App Store is managed through the App Store. |
| Two-factor authentication | No. Turn it on again under Settings > Security if you want it. |
If sign-up is refused
ZeroTwo blocks sign-ups from some email domains, such as disposable-mail services. Its sign-up checks look at the domain of the address, not at whether the address once belonged to a deleted account. If you see "Please sign up with a permanent email address.", use your regular personal or work address. If sign-up is refused with a different message, see How do I contact ZeroTwo support?
