ZeroTwo is an AI assistant that works across the web, desktop, phone and browser. This page lists what it can do and where to find each feature. Some features depend on your plan or on the app you use, so those details are noted where they matter. Menu names below are those of the web and desktop apps unless a section says otherwise.
Chat with models from several providers
ZeroTwo is not tied to one model. Its model list includes models from providers such as Anthropic, Google and xAI, among others. Use the model picker in the message box to search the list by model or provider name and to sort it. Auto is a virtual model that routes your message to a fast, low-cost model. Usage is measured in credits, and models in the free tier cost about zero. See What does the ZeroTwo Free plan include? for how credits work.
Search the web and do deep research
- Web Search. Turn it on from the + menu in a Chat. Answers that use the web show a Sources control. On the web and desktop apps you can pick the search engine in Settings > Personalization > Companion under Default search engine: Exa, Firecrawl, Perplexity or Google. On Free the setting is locked, and choosing an engine needs Plus or higher.
- Deep Research. Deep Research is a plugin that does comprehensive, source-backed research and delivers it as a document, PDF, presentation, spreadsheet or site. Make sure it is enabled under Customize > Plugins, then type
/deep-researchin your message. The Plus plan card lists "150 deep researches / month (uses credits)".
Create images
Choose Create image from the + menu in Chat. The Images page, under the More ("…") menu in the left rail, is ZeroTwo's image studio.
Work with files and data
Attach files from + then Files and folders, or pick something already saved with Add from library. ZeroTwo can read them, and it can run Python in a sandbox to analyze spreadsheets and build charts. See Attaching images to a ZeroTwo chat and Analyzing spreadsheets and data files with ZeroTwo.
Talk instead of typing
When the message box is empty, the send button becomes Start voice conversation. A separate Start voice dictation button types what you say. Settings > Voice lets you choose the microphone, speaker and the voice ZeroTwo uses for new voice chats, and keep a dictation dictionary of words to recognize.
Remember context and match your style
- Memory. Settings > Personalization > Memory has a Memory switch and a Manage memories button to see what ZeroTwo knows about you, correct it or delete it.
- Custom instructions and tone. See Setting custom instructions in ZeroTwo and Choosing how ZeroTwo sounds.
Organize work in projects and Spaces
The Projects section in the sidebar lets you move chats into a project, and each project has its own instructions. Spaces in the left rail hold pages, folders and files that you can share with other people. See Sharing Spaces and pages with other people.
Hand off bigger jobs
The Work and Code modes run multi-step tasks and coding tasks. See Chat, Work and Code in ZeroTwo. For recurring jobs, open Scheduled in the left rail and choose New task, then Create with ZeroTwo or Set up manually.
Connect your apps
Customize in the left rail is where you add connectors, skills and plugins that let ZeroTwo read and write to the tools you already use.
